    the case where this came up was the stupid varargs T param on android asynctask. making T Nothing would ensure the array is always empty

    because there arent any ints in it. Array<Nothing> would make more sense

    either way, thats not the point. why does the exclusion exist in the first place? it seems odd from a typing standpoint

    especially since Nothing? is legal, even though it can only be null (just like Array<Nothing> can only be empty)

    also doesn't have a counterpart on the JVM.

    Yea you can have Array<Unit> too I think even though it's kind of void
