Hey folks! 👋 My name is Eugene, and I'm a product manager at JetBrains. In build-tools, 🛠️ we are seriously thinking about the roadmap and wondering what things might be considered as critical from your perspective. So, I have an ask for each of you. 📢 Please, let me know in the thread/privately what is important for you. It might be issues, pull-requests, feature requests, or even fundamental problems. This information will help me to focus my research. And hopefully, your issues become a part of the backlog. Thanks for your attention and happy coding)

Hi, I'm searching for a way to package a Kotlin executable JAR built with Gradle to distribute it to user. I managed to do it with shadowJar, but that means pushing multiple megabytes to CI/CD, when all the dependencies are already in maven repositories... It sounds like there should be a way to have the user automatically download all of those directly? My ultimate aim is to have a small bash/shell script that I could distribute, that would download everything and run it with the correct classpath

hey, Parcelize seems to be backwards incompatible in 1.4.20 which puts libraries in a bit of a bind, can the extension plugin -> parcelize plugin be done in a backwards compatible way or is it too late?

Hi folks. Noob here. I have an issue where a Kotlin + Java module builds succesfully in IntelliJ IDEA but fails when I run
    mvn clean install
from the command line (and JitPack). More details in this thread any help would be appreciated.

Does anybody know or had experience with other build tools, such as Bazel, Buck, Pants, Buildr, etc. on Kotlin projects? Is it even supported? Also I’m aware of Kobalt, has anyone used it?

Hello 👋 Anyone knows if there is a
    kotlin-maven-plugin
documentation site that lists all of the available goals and configurations? e.g. there is https://kotlinlang.org/docs/reference/using-maven.html but it doesn't mention
    script
    goal (example from IT https://github.com/JetBrains/kotlin/blob/master/libraries/tools/kotlin-maven-plugin-test/src/it/test-executeKotlinScriptBuildAccess/pom.xml#L31)

Hi! I'm trying to publish a multiplatform library to MavenCentral (via Gradle and
    maven-publish
). The Kotlin documentation states that it's necessary to define an
    artifact
block "in the publication's scope". What does that mean exactly? Do you know of an example/open source project that does that?
