    I think 1.0.7 will be released soon, but I'm not sure if it has any changes related to incremental compilation/builds. Are there any issues you're experiencing regarding incremental build/compilation, @neworldlt?

    The major reason for 1.0.7 is the isolation of a compiler process from Gradle process, which resolves issues with recent Gradle versions (3.2+)

    Does kapt3 not being incremental count?

    Kapt3 was never incremental in the first place 🙂 We'll look into it, but probably as a part of 1.1.x tooling updates.

    After upgrading to the newest beta gradle compilation fails with the following error: kaptDebugKotlin e: Wrong plugin option format: null, should be plugin&lt;pluginId&gt;<optionName>=<value>

    @alexey.tsvetkov, I tested 1.0.6. The incremental in this version never failed me, but tests stop work. And the problem with incremental in 1.0.5 is that sometimes Android specific classes are not packed in final DEX and I need clean.

    @bodo Can you reproduce this in a sample project? I’ve never seen about this issue before.

    I’m tried to install kotlin 1.1-beta using sdkman, but got an error:

    Maybe something wrong with Kotlin distribution that published to sdkman

    I found a (source) backward incompatibility in 1.1-beta. this used to compile in 1.0.6 and 1.1 milestones but does not anymore in 1.1-beta:
