I have been exploring a few novel strategies in Kotlin object composition, object management, and written three successive iterations of a purposeful Kotlin Pandas replacement. I'm rounding the corners on documentation and usability, but actually, I needed a tool that didn't buckle at the knee under a few million rows with a few thousand columns. The questions I have start to address the hard line of performance in Kotlin versus language conveniences over other systems-level access languages like C++, Rust, Erlang, et al. so here, for comments, RFC for usecases, idiomatic suggestions, or if you have an anxieties from JEE, spring, and hadoop/spark, I'm rounding the corner on a big data/machine learning ecosystem tool. https://github.com/jnorthrup/columnar

I wanted to see how hard it would be to build a markdown renderer in Compose. First step is a DSL that actually draws things. The default formatting looks like garbage because i’m not a designer 😛 Missing lots of things like kdoc, inline text styles (bold, italic, etc), link support (Compose doesn’t seem to support links yet?), etc., but I wanted to timebox this to a day so I’m pretty happy with how far I got. https://github.com/zach-klippenstein/compose-richtext
