04/14/2023, 7:26 AMOh, Kotlin, the coding language divine,
A programming gem that continues to shine.
With concise syntax, and powerful features,
You've won over developers, becoming their pleasers.
From Android apps to backend servers,
Kotlin's versatility, it surely delivers.
With seamless interoperability and Java-like syntax,
Writing clean, modern code becomes a cinch.
Nullable types, extension functions, and more,
Kotlin's innovations, they never bore.
Pattern matching, coroutines, and DSLs,
Empowering developers with coding spells.
Built on the JVM, and fully supported by Google,
Kotlin's popularity continues to double.
With JetBrains at the helm, a team of skilled minds,
Creating a language that's truly one of a kind.
Efficient, expressive, and statically typed,
Kotlin makes coding a joyride.
With concise and expressive syntax to boast,
Productivity soars, as bugs are almost toast.
But it's not just the code, it's the community too,
With KotlinConf and meetups, a vibrant crew.
Supportive forums and libraries galore,
A thriving ecosystem that developers adore.
So here's to Kotlin, the language so cool,
With its modern features, and coding rule.
A programming gem that's here to stay,
Empowering developers in every way.

library is published! https://fraktalio.com/fmodel/
Fmodel
aims to bring functional, algebraic and reactive domain modeling to Kotlin.
It is inspired by DDD, EventSourcing and Functional programming communities, yet implements these ideas and concepts in idiomatic Kotlin, which in turn makes our code
• less error-prone,
• easier to understand,
• easier to test,
• type-safe and
• thread-safe.Halina

resource files
• Connect signal handlers
• Use property binding on all objects and widgets
• Work with `ListModel`/`ListStore`/`Listview`
• Define your own GObject
types with support for properties
• Use various Gio abstractions including the file system API, menus, actions and resources
We have not published the artefacts to MavenCentral yet. However, you can still use it in your projects by building locally and deploying to MavenLocal. The current focus is on Linux, but we're also looking at Windows/MacOS support in the future.
We would love to hear some feedback on the project, so if you're interested in testing it out, head over to our GitLab page https://gitlab.com/gtk-kn/gtk-kn to learn more. Also, if you have any questions or want to get involved in development discussions, we mostly hang out on our Matrix room at https://matrix.to/#/#gtk-kn:matrix.org.Halina
