With Fleet soon taking a more prominent role in KMP projects, I thought, I'd give Fleet another try, and so far I'm happy, although coming from AS/IntelliJ it takes a lot of getting used to. However, I was unable to get Compose Previews to work. Are they just not supported by Fleet yet or am I doing something wrong?

Does Fleet support logcat for Android? I can see logs printed for desktop or iOS but can't for Android

I saw this https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/13263682579346/comments/14853063511058 today which mentions how third party plugins will need to have a separate custom plugin for Fleet and for IntelliJ. From my experience with ide plugins, they always seem to be slow to stay up to date, and always seem to lack maintainers, even for very popular libraries. This is in no way a criticism towards those folks, I understand how it's often one of the last things that take priority over maintaining the library itself. With that said, I can't help but think that having a separate plugin required for Fleet will just mean that most of them will simply not be able to put in the time to make it happen. Or if they do, will have an even harder time maintaining it. What are your thoughts regarding this in general? Is the hope perhaps that the newly built from the ground up plugin support for Fleet will be simpler therefore maintainers will have an easier time? Perhaps Jetbrains folks can help with migrating some of the most critical/integral ones for the community? Plugins like ktlint and square/SQLDelight come to mind as examples of very important ones for a lot of people. If there was any other discussion around this before I'd love to see it, so please do link it here.

👋 Is there a way to use Swift UI indentation rules? It seems that SwiftUI has specific indentation rules for modifiers which Fleet does not respect (example in thread). Is there a way that I can set specific indentation rules for SwiftUI code? This makes Fleet really hard to use for SwiftUI code for me so I guess I'll just stick to XCode for now kodee sad

Good morning, I also have a question regarding a fleet run configuration. I am wondering if it is possible to launch a non-multiplatform xcode-project. The existing app is kind of complex (app, with different modules which itself have kmp-submodules… If I try to create a configuration the project, targets etc. are not available in code-completion and also the Navigation inside the Swift-Files are not working, so my guess is: It simply doesn’t work at all - is this correct? Thanks

I have an existing KMP app that builds and runs well on Android Studio Giraffe or XCode 15.0. When opening this project in Fleet, I can build and run the android-app just fine. However, when trying to run the ios-app, during the build I get a lot of these error message:

Is there an option to compare files between branches like in IntelliJ IDE?

Opening some samples that exist online, Fleet seems to somehow magically pick up how to run the Android and the iOS applications, but they don't always look present in the file which stores the run configurations. Is it because for "default" cases (whatever that may be) it picks it up without the need for the configuration file? I have found that a bit confusing in general, is this how it works right now? Am I misunderstanding something?

When I create a project with kmp.jetbrains.com/ , how do I create a run configuration for Android? Fleet doesn't seem to pick up any run configurations, as when I open the run Menu it doesn't show any configurations by default. I can get the Desktop and the Server part running by using the gutter Icon, and I can create a custom run configuration in

run.json

, but I can't seem to find any examples of what to put for the

module

and

destination

attributes.

Can Fleet be used from iOS only projects? When I open iOS project, Fleet gets stuck on "Waiting on IntelliJ" message for like half an hour and my Mac starts overheating and then the fans kick in which I've never seen before even when I have Android Studio, IntelliJ Idea and Xcode open at the same time 😄 😄

it now errors out, recommending changing the destination to "iOS Device" doing that results in an error again, this time complaining about not being logged in to something?

hey team, how soon do you think I might be able to import my keymap I’ve customized over the last 15 years of IntelliJ/AS/AppCode/WebStorm? It started from IntelliJ PC, converted to Mac a few years later and lately I just mod it how I want. It’s been so portable between JB IDEs, my hope was that I could bring it into Fleet easily.

Is the "code with me" feature already supposed to work in Fleet? Because if I paste a session link to "join session", the text field just gets a red border and nothing happens (incl. no error being shown).

Gradle Composite support is a very important part of my company's workflows; since we often develop in-house library projects in tandem with Applications. This includes within Kotlin Multiplatform projects - which relatively recently gained support, to our great joy. However, Gradle Composite doesn't appear to be supported in Fleet at all. Is this on the radar?
