Cricut has three open listings for senior level android developers. The main office is located in South Jordan Utah but one of the postings does say they will consider remote workers (I am remote so it does happen). Annual salary budget I believe is in the 115-125 range but I have not confirmed the budget assigned to these listings. No wait period on health insurance benefits and pay is twice a month. I have been on the team for a little over a month and have been loving it thus far. We can really use more people with strong kotlin experience that are willing to work hard and mentor the more junior members of the team. I understand the channel rules but because of them, I can't advertise for my company. We do pay well (I know that first hand since I'm hiring) and proportionally to the value of the engineer, but these ranges are simply impossible to disclose since there are other elements to a total compensation (namely, bonus, stock, LTIP, etc...).

The rules guarantee that the only companies that will advertise here will be on the low end of the scale and without any of these other elements of a compensation.

You’re so far in one side of the spectrum, we discussed this before I understand your goal just don’t take it personal or so simplistic, people most of the time is happy to share job posts, just don’t make them feel stupid or start a thread that then becomes personal, with comments like “that’s crap”, maybe it’s for you and like you said you don’t have more patience, so chill out the community will take care of what works and what doesn’t work

every time this is brought up, the vast majority of people (who are not posting ads) agree with the channel policy

Public salary range is an important factor in employer openness and honesty. Otherwise it’s like you come to the shop, see nice packaged juice with a label “Only Fresh Fruits” and no price tag, and another tiny text at the bottom “Ask at checkout”. Do you like such stuff? Or may be when you go to some software vendor’s website, like the product description, click “Buy” button, and see “Send us an email for quote”. I normally just close the page at this point, because I known they will try to squeeze maximum from me. I understand, people opinions may vary, but as you said, this is not the jobs website which allows employers to do whatever they want because they pay for ads. We have top Kotlin audience here (at least judging by the fact people explicitly come here to learn and improve their Kotlin skills), so I think they deserve more information on job postings.

If a company had a posting with something like "Salary: determined individually, but definitely above industry average", would that be indicative of "open and honest"?
