Is this a known issue that when you generate overrides in a Kotlin class for a Java interface that resides in a package annotated with

, then the parameters will be nullable, even though they shouldn't be?

it would be really cool if idea showed a kotlin file converted from a java file as a diff in the diff viewer, instead of showing it as a delete and an add. then i could easily double check if i like all the conversions

Here's a workaround for you that I didn't think of when I actually needed it 😛 open version control tool window, revert changes on the java file, select both files in the project view and hit ctrl+d to compare them

once you're done, delete java file of course

or you could: copy kotlin file contents, revert changes to both java and kotlin files, refactor "rename file" to change

, paste kotlin contents

Maybe that's what intellij should do, treat conversion to kotlin as rename with modification
