From the doc for Weigher, the superinterface: It's almost a must to specify how your weigher relates to the others by priority (see {@link com.intellij.openapi.extensions.LoadingOrder}).

So far, my experience has been: if you want to write an IDEA plug-in, make sure that all your Google searches are limited to the past year. And even then, most of the hits land in dead ends

you get that when you open a file within the IDE that is outside the source root

@yole: I figured it out, I had rooted my module in

src/main/java

so any file outside of that was considered not in the project

has anyone updated to IDEA 15 EAP build 143.249 yet and tried python? The updater tells me that the python plugin is incompatible, however I don’t know if there is a newer version of the python plugin which is compatible with the new build.

I think this channel is for Kotlin+Intellij, not really other issues.
