I’m working with https://github.com/JetBrains/create-react-kotlin-app and have to enable CORS, but cannot figure out how. What I have tried so far, was placing a webpack config js file in the root directory with this content:

headers: {'Access-Control-Allow-Origin': '*'}

Anyone knows how to configure this properly?

Hey guys, I have created a starter repo for using the Kotlin React wrapper with a custom Webpack setup for Kotlin 1.3 JS multiplatform projects. This starter is setup with JS/JVM multiplatform but it will work for any multiplatform combination you would like to do. I have put comments in the webpack config files and some of build.gradle to explain the configurations. It starts you off with a working React component and multiplatform sample files. Has anyone tried creating a site/browser extension with material components web? They have a react component in js, though I'm curious if there is a kotlin version anywhere

I know I could use extension functions. But If I need to extensively extend a existing javascript class monkey patching should be easier to use

Hmm I like the idea of Kotlin for JS and it has some great features. But currently it seems like that my Kotlin generated JS code is 10x bigger then similar code written in simple ES6

I actual have DCE enabled. And I just tested it my es6 to es5 is not that much bigger still approximately 9x smaller

Anybody here successfully managed to integrate kotlin-frontend-plugin and google actions? A starter project would really help for someone not at home in js world 😉

Sorry for reposting my question but I’m really eager to play with KotlinJS and can’t find a solution… If I compile my little KotlinJS/npm/webpack4 example it works with ‘npm start’ for the first time but if I change something the change gets not reflected. Browser cache ist turned off. The odd thing is that the modification date of kotlinApp.js is always 01.01.70!!! Issue report is here: https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/CRKA-94
