I'm considering submitting a talk for KotlinConf focused on Android Development, but since there's a lot of time that will elapse between the Call for papers deadline and the event itself, I'm wondering if we can change the title and the description of the talk after May 1st. I'm asking because I know there'll be more Kotlin stuff that will appear this year, and I'm pretty certain it'll change the content of my talk

Hi, I'm willing to talk about Kotlin + Android at KotlinConf, but I'm afraid of several things: - I'm not English native (French native), and while I have no difficulties to speak, I may have trouble understanding others depending on the voice of the people or the complexity of the vocabulary, which I assume, could be an issue for a Q&A session, and for the event organization. - I am a little hearing impaired (~15% hearing loss), which doesn't help understanding others, especially in a foreign language. Could this be an important issue if I want to speak to KotlinConf?

hello i see that there is a 50% discount for students. i purchased an early bird ticket and am also a student. does this discount apply to early bird tickets?

if so would i be able to still apply this even if i purchased my ticket already?

Does anybody know roughly how large KotlinConf is expected to be?

Are any of the organisers of the conference actually in this channel? I’d like to know if there’s a plan/intention to broadcast the conference via livestream and sell “remote” tickets - alternatively suggest that idea to them. I can see why Jetbrains would have the perception that SF was the best place to run their first Kotlinconf, but I think there are quite a few people outside of the US who have no intention to visit the USA for the next couple of years, regardless of what’s gonna be offered there in regards to conferences or other events.

Hi! Sorry, I have some questions regarding KotlinConf, will it be streamed like the io? will there be some kind of "workshops"/"codelabs" in the event days besides the talks? I mean I want to know what could be the real benefits of attending in person to the conference. In advance thanks.

hey guys, super early bird sold out? whats the deal? Kinda bummed you didn't give any indication that there was a fixed amount that could be sold. I was putting together the paperwork at my company, and I went to pull the trigger today and, surprise, extra $100 😞

@yaimavaldivia We had Super Early Bird running for some time at $199 and Early Bird until yesterday for about $299. In both cases the tickets went much faster than we’d imagined.
