Ok so I finally found out that the sources jar is actually published correctly. I just don’t see it in IDEA. Any idea why? I’m importing my libs using the base name

Hi everyone. Is there another way to make a sourceSet depend on another without using dependsOn? Because this method of depending on another module was broken on my project when I updated to 1.3.30 yesterday. I'm declaring my androidMain source set and make it depend on the jvmMain but can't use any function of it, only functions on commonMain are visible, even though I can access the transitive dependencies brought by jvmMain.

is there any better way to handle multi platform strings at the moment than manually doing string key lookups on android and iOS (saw https://github.com/chRyNaN/resources but it looks a bit early/not supporting localization). The simple method does work as long as the platforms make sure to define those keys but some issues like could arise like no guarantee the strings have same number of arguments (though you could write a test that iterates through every common key you have to verify it doesn't crash at least if you keep all your keys in some large common list).

project, and when I run it in simulator, I get a message in debugger output:

Is this normal/expected? Is there a way to get rid of this message?

Is there an example project that creates a small program that's not the test runner that links and runs code with your library in a multiplatform project?

I'm trying to convert a multiplatform Gradle/Groovy config to Kotlin DSL, but finding no examples (of the sourceSet-based pattern) and one loose mention that this is 'not supported yet' in a Blog post. Anyone achieving this?

@max.denissov I'm starting on that journey myself - yes, Ktor supports both; though I'm a little unclear on the current position with WebSockets on iOS after 1.3.x as the dependencies have changed around a bit.

I'm still in the setup phase and finding it is definitely a bit of a balancing act with version numbers to get iOS working at the moment. Here's what I know:
