When I used fluent-http, the paragraph about DI was important for my decision of using it. It was like : “ok, it’s a new framework but I know how to plug my old java world in it.” With Guice-persist, using jpa is not a problem. For me ktor currently lacks of this kind of small documentation. From an external point of view, it still looks mysterious.

You can plug any DI into ktor, it doesn’t interfere with it. We still lack a sample on it, for sure.

@kirillrakhman SparkJava worked reasonably well for my uses but I got quickly turned off by their reliance on static methods for everything, and it got in my way (with Guice) right away

Ignored or denied? I could forgive ignored since IIRC it's only maintained by the creator and they always have a ton of PRs.
