FYI we use it on https://github.com/mix-it/mixit/ but with we had to disable restart with

spring.devtools.restart.enabled=false

, I am not sure yet if it is caused by Kotlin or Spring new Reactive stuff.

I am interested by feedbacks from people using devtools with regular Spring Boot application

Seems to work ok with regular Spring Boot 1.x + Kotlin app

Don’t forget to install the live reload plugin in your browser to trigger the reload

It works pretty well

we had problems with devtools using the wrong jackson objects because of the dual classloader scenario. Supposedly that can be fixed by the devtools properties file though.

@dbushenko @sdeleuze I would second the integration of spring and kotlin repl. Its how you would work in clojure and scala and its hard to go back to another world after that. But ymmv.

hi all, i'm experienced with java but fairly new with kotlin and spring and i'm having some issues, i've got my project set up like so, where SpringRunner just contains a stub class with the SpringBootApplication annotation and the SpringApplication.run main method, , i'm having an issue in that whenever i go to localhost:8080/index, which to my knowledge should take me to my index.html page in templates. it instead takes me to the whitelabel error page with this message

There was an unexpected error (type=Not Found, status=404).

if anyone could help shed some light on what i'm doing wrong it'd be greatly appreciated

suport to build nested path request predicates with any number of levels

I am pretty happy with current syntax even if that will be much better for references with https://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/KT-15667 in Kotlin 1.2

Feel free to vote for that issue in order to give it more chance to be part of Kotlin 1.2
