I just added an

onComplete

callback, tested it with a workspace action that adds a customer to a tableview:

The wizard needs to signal that it is somplete in the

onSave

function:

You can, but they will not share a scope, so you would need to transfer whatever you need to

It works, but it's not a good UI pattern. That's what the wizard pages are for, I think 🙂

I do have something like that in the CRM though, which brings up multiple dialogs after each other. I will replace it with a Wizard now.

@gtnarg Absolutely, that's better. I kind of don't like the apply, so I'm looking for a better way to do this. Perhaps something like:

@User uploaded a file: Untitled

But it might be too simplistic. You might need to configure the wizard before hand etc.

So this might be better:

@User uploaded a file: Untitled

where does

openModal()

fit in?

It's done automatically, unless you do it explicitly.

Most of the time you'll just do

openModal()

with no arguments, but if you do it with arguments, or just because you forgot it would be opened for you, the builder would respect that. Too wierd?

well for now I am quite satisfied with the wizard, the only problems I have with it are not wizard related but builder stuff. but I will sort that 😉

@gtnarg No, and that's a good point. It could be embedded anywhere or even be a top level view. Let's rethink..
