@edvin I've heard on the forums that you could program it. I'm not sure how you'd do that though. The docs say that FN, R Ctrl, M, <, > and ? can't be programmed. I'm surprised you were able to do something with R Ctrl

I answered the SO question. When I answer stuff like this I'm reminded that there are many valid ways to achieve what the author wants. I'm not great at taking decisions on architecture like this, but I realize that TornadoFX by now makes it trivial to support several different styles. Whatever style you choose, TornadoFX seems to not get in your way. I'm very happy about that. When I see TornadoFX code in the wild these days, I often see processes done completely different from my own initial thoughts on how to tackle the particular issue, and that is a good thing indeed. TornadoFX doesn't get in the way of your own personal style. 🎉

the recent stuff that's been added also helps you adjust your architecture as you need it. you can start off small as in the early examples where a RESTful model plugs right into a ListView and add features from there.

support is another example of that. We now support "the command pattern" if you will, but it doesn't get in your way if you don't want it. I really love that we don't force a particular architectural style on the developer.

enableWhen

from the login example above might just as well accept an observable. There is no added value in accepting a function that returns an observable in this case, so I'm adding overloads for all of those.

enableWhen(user.valid)

makes more sense.

It might have been a bad decision to use functions that returned observables in the first place, but it won't hurt keeping them around and I see no reason to deprecate them.

Back home, went straight to test drive the POK3R 🙂 Typing is fine, but the only motoric control I have of my right hand is the fingers. I can't really move it, so I had to swap the mouse over to the left side of the keyboard. I have have to physically move my right hand with my left when I want it to go somewhere. Without the POK3R I wouldn't be able to use the arrow keys. Saved by the POK3R 😁

if I were you I would step away from the keyboard and relax for a whole evening!

Flipping the mouse button position actually helps. I had to do this for a hurt shoulder a few years ago. Kept it for several years actually before I moved to a trackball.
