Quick question for anyone/everyone. What is your​ opinion on having animations within a stylesheet?

And what would your concerns about that be?

@libcmg Well, they fit nicely with other presentational configuration, so I wouldn't have any problems with it.

I'm honestly amazed at how you guys went so far beyond just making JavaFX fit Kotlin. I loved JavaFX before, but I honestly don't think I could go back to it now.

The only thing I miss is SceneBuilder

@libcmg We were talking about that the other day. Maybe there will be a scene builder for TornadoFX builder one day. The first step will be a visual "editor" that shows you the ui live as you code. Then we'll probably start to add functions onto that layer. I've started playing with it, but I need to finish and start rehearsing my talk first. When that's done I will focus more on that.

@libcmg Cool! I'll be sure to mention it here when the basic framework for it is up and running. The hope is for it to be as easy to extend as the framework itself, so everybody can help out and add features to it. This might be the next level for TornadoFX.

The only thing i wish the galago had more of is battery. 3-4 hours running Intellij. But I'm guessing it performs better for less intensive tasks
