Yeah, I figured that was the easiest way to make people understand what goes on under the covers.

I think many has used

cellFormat

without knowing what it really does.

The cell implementation is a

SmartListCell

which knows to look for

cellFormat

functions,

cellCache

functions and some other variants.

I was beginning to think that

cellCache

was a mistake, but the usecase in this screencast shows that it absolutely has the right to live. I didn't think about that a Node graph can consist of external resources, and for those situations it's invaluable. There are other ways to deal with it, but with

cellCache

you can skip all the complexity.

We need some more sexy code samples in the README. Maybe we should remove some of the old ones as well. Suggestions? 🙂

The code is private, but not really because it needs to be. The thing is, I wrote a lot of the code for this CRM before TornadoFX even had builders. It needs major refactoring before it can become a collection of best practices. I hope to get there some day though. It's important to me that people realize that TornadoFX absolutely is a good fit for large applications.

About the design in the CRM: I would like to create a type safe stylesheet that covers most of this stuff, but one that is highly configurable, just by setting some basic properties.
