I think there are examples for JavaFX out there already, so I'm sure we can make this work for TornadoFX as well. Gotta convert it first though 🙂

It's not about doing it from scratch, but it is useful when you need to add info from an API or change the layout

I've pushed up a

jdk9

branch with preliminary changes. It compiles, but a couple of files have been renamed to

.ktx

to exclude them from the compilation process while we look for solutions to issues that arose. I've also hashed out a couple of functions and added some TODOs. There are other issues that will show up at runtime as well, just wanted to share what I've been working on today 🙂 Travelling back tomorrow, so I might be more or less offline until Monday.

I also removed the travis icon showing build status, since it shows up as "build failing" on the main github page even if the master branch is passing all tests, due to errors with the JDK9 branch.

Travis icon is back, tests are passing in the JDK9 branch. Time for bed 🙂
