    Licensing is a problem for QT, plus its size is huge..

    Problem for QT is that it is C++, and Kotlin/Native currently can interop only with plain C libraries. GTK+ is plain C.

    GTK requires X on Mac. That's probably a show stopper. I can't imagine that thing behaving very well, and it's not going to look integrated.

    To go this route I think we'd have to consider a cross platform rendering engine, and take it from there.

    A lot more work for sure, but the upside is that we could support the exact same features on all platforms.

Do you have a favorite GTK+ application that you'd like to run on your Mac with a more Mac-like look and feel, with the menus up on the menu bar and standard Mac keyboard shortcuts like Command-Q? Perhaps you maintain a GTK+ application and want to expand your user base to Mac users who want a Mac experience, not a transplanted Unix experience?
