@jchildress The problem with JFXDecorator is that it tries to set the stage style after init.

so if you are replacing the current view with another view it will throw an exception

find<MyComponent>()

and then accessing the

properterty of that

UIComponent.

@edvin It didn't... That library is using some specific way to "decorate" the nodes I pass it... It wraps it in up in a different pane. I'm good for now... don't waste time trying to troubleshoot it. @bkenn has a library that works if I need/want to use JFoenix.

@elaborate tissue There was a bug with the close() function until recently. It's fixed in the current snapshot release 🙂

@thomasnield I mentioned you specifically in a message about this a while ago - it was shadowing another function so I had no choice but to rename it to readonlyColumm. The type system in Kotlin can’t make the distinction we need to keep it :(

When it was introduced I didn’t realize the shadowing, but it causes severe issues. Very sorry about this. On my mobile now, can dig up more info about it tonight :)
