yep, extending the existing Drawer. The workspace is a view that has them by default (or adds them if you use them, I don't remember!). We're doing it with rxjava but I can port that to event listeners and send a pull request.

You have to use another column function for non javafx beans. I think it is called

readOnlyColumn

or something along those lines.

That's correct @bkenn - an unfortunate situation where the

column()

builder for POJOs shadowed the one for observable properties, so it had to be renamed
