OK for primary view, if I can subscribe to onShown event from onDock, that means onShown is not called yet. onDock is being called first then onShown. It is other way around for secondary stage.

I usually manipulate observable lists directly unless it causes issues

@carlw Yes, it's just called before calling stage.show() - it's not a JavaFX event really, just something I dreamed up 🙂

sounds like you have it handled. if you need any other suggestions, I have a whole resizing / zoom memory thing written in plain javafx with just the standard events

Hi @carlw my approach is first I am restoring height and width. Then I am restoring divider position. But I see divider position is going back to default position.
