    for a while, I didn't understand that find had the ability to pass those scopes in - I'll have to read in the source code before I can correctly state what I believe it does and why it's important for scopes.

    if my scope isn't working correctly though, there are usually 3-4 steps that must be complete to be able to pass them around: https://edvin.gitbooks.io/tornadofx-guide/content/part2/Scopes.html

    @edvin I might make a PR on the wiki for github, apparently you have to make a new account for gitbook instead of using any oauth

    @beepdog I would draw out a selection object to apply it elsewhere. This displays "false" in a textfield when there is no item select; otherwise show "true"

    can you describe a little about what you're doing? you might be able to layout your fragments in a different way using a different container
