    Another question, how if I have defined a 
    tackyButton
    cssclass()
    , how do I apply it to all buttons in a given application? I'm not sure I'm doing this right...

    If you want to target all buttons you add the styles to button directly. It is not possible to add a class to another selector via css.

    Hi. Is it possible to get a VBox using fxid() ? it seems to be working fine with other component but for some reason, can't get it working with a VBox

    instead of: 
    val incomingMessage : VBox by fxid()

    If your properties name doesn't match a id in a fxml.. it will throw a NPE when you try to use it (because. of course. no match)
