there are some javafx property objects that need to be wrapped for the progress tracking feature. you can always bring your own rest werb client datasource (ex, apache cxf) and put that into non-FX classes

@Sergio Casero You can use a read only TextField and remove the border with css. That makes the text selectable 🙂

After years of avoiding it, I think I'm going to start looking at SpreadsheetView for more flexibility and to appease my Excel-compulsive users. Does anybody have recent experience with it and have an opinion on its current state? I may contribute some DSL's for it.

But if you infact have the module path set up, why doesn't the first one work? It's like Mike talked about, a mix of classpath and modulepath

I'm not sure, but digging into the Image class will probably reveal some settings that can be applied after-the-fact with the ImageView object creation

If you were going to have a large heavily styled text area, would TextFlow make sense or would it be easier to do something with WebView? This is for a recipe view. It wouldnt be editable (i plan to have another view for editing).. This would be just nice view of the recipe with title, description, pic, ingredient list etc etc. And then hopefully printable with the same look.

@beepdog you have a set of models which in themselves, are individual models that make up the data set. It sounds like you're trying to create an itemview model of the set itself

Happy new year! I'm already getting a head start on some new TornadoFX mathematical modeling projects. Here is a Poisson simulation I built in Kotlin/TornadoFX. (I see the "Setting Up" so the init of the view is executed). i tried with background and application thread, and also with no parameter for the FXEvent.

@Czar I see. I'll look into improving the ability to customize it, but you can get the headers from the Response no problem, so cookies should be no issue to retrieve.
