much in production myself, I've never had a need for it, so it did't receive as much live testing as the

HttpURLEngine

. Can I ask why you're using it? Does it work better for some reason? I used it once because I needed to support digest auth, but apart from that I didn't find many use cases.

I don't remember now to tell the truth. I think it was a different project i was working on. I can check on the reason for it. The current project i just used that one as a starter... let me check and i'll get back to you... maybe 10 mins...

strange... now when i switch to the default my post call doesn't work... doesn't even show in the proxy.... get requests work fine, but not post...

then the post doesn't work...

It's pretty easy to debug the rest api though, so we should be able to figure this out quickly.

What kind of authentication are you using?

for this app none currently, for the other one i'm checking... it definitely has authentication and i think that was why i switch apache, just confirming...

Then the reason to change would be if you use client certificate auth or digest auth. Basic auth works great out of the box with both implementations.

openam is what they are calling the authentication type
