for the builder to operate on. It merely requires you to create a Node and return it. However, we have a sneaky mechanism in place to deal with displacing the parent for a builder, and I suspect this can be applied here.

@permalmberg The workaround is just using it as it was intended while we make the builders work as well 🙂 Change your code to

TitledPane(it, text(it))

and you're golden.

@carlw Nah, that's not the proplem 🙂 Just change to proper case TitledPane, so that you instantiate a TitlePane directly and everything should work.

@edvin I think the concurrent problem that per ran into is from the single-child behavior of the titledpane. The builder is trying to clear out the children in the cache, so it probably would need an intervening container (say a vbox) so that the clear call would "pass through" the titled pane, set it's new title from the cache and set the children of the vbox rather than the titledpane

@carlw Actually, the issue is that the TitledPanes were all added to the root node, i.e the ListView instead of inside each list cell.

Generics, type projections.. Somehow it's even harder in Kotlin than in Java..
