because an entry does not know to wich group it belongs

@ron No, because the filtering only occurs when the text input is actually changed.

so if I understand you right the table view will always show the sortedfilteredlist and the selection of a group in the treeview only changes the selectedGroup wether you are searching or not

@ron Yes. You might need to push the filter to reevaluate when you change the selectedGroup though.

You can test it right now by changing group, then changing the input in the search field and then clearing it.

SqueezeBox

to TornadoFX. It's an accordion that allows for multiple open panes. I only had ten minutes now and I got to run, but I will add more features to it hopefully tonight.

@permalmberg We can work on other requirements to it later today if you like. I don't think the common use case is for it to be data driven like you did with the listview, but let me know if you need it to be, we could look into that. It's by no means complete, I just wanted to throw out a POC to see how it would work.

@permalmberg OK. I think the absolutely most common use case is non-datadriven, so let's keep it that way. I'll make sure it's dynamic enough to support changes to the panes after it's created. Hmm.. I might actually be able to make it data driven as an option. I have an idea, will try tonight.
