@carlw wrote a very nice blog post about TableView binding in Kotlin, using TornadoFX. I have modified his code to use even more TornadoFX features, bringing the LOC down to 50 and IMO increasing readability, especially for the long binding statement.

parameter to the hbox/vbox builders, binds the tableview selection to an
