Does anybody know of a mic stand I can hang the mic from that would be compatible with the Yeti Pro Blue mic? I want to get rid of they keyboard sound as much as possible. I'll also buy a more quiet keyboard.

@edvin have you tried a lavalier / lapel mic?

@edvin this might be overkill, but you could attach this to a desk boom so that the desk won't rattle the keyboard

I use a samson which I keep off the desk on a stand with a pop filter

Just ordered the shockmount, I found out that I need that to be able to use any kind of boom arm mic stand with it.

@carlw I've never used anything but the Yeti, this is my first ever mic 🙂

i'll let you know how the lapel mic goes. i'm trying to see if there's solution so that I don't have to be perfectly in front of the mic

@carlw I know the Yeti has some different modes depending on if you're alone or with multiple people etc. Will try to play with that a little, but all in all it seems to pick up the sound pretty good.

@edvin i think that set up gives a really pleasing result. When you get close to the mic, it produces a richer voice

I never thought a quality mic would make such a difference for screencasts 🙂 Happy I found the Yeti, and look forward to try it with the shock mount and boom stand 🙂
