@carlw I use UML a lot and the C4 method from Simon Brown. the 4th C in that method is usually UML of the most important classes

@edvin watched the minicast, very clear indeed. I would love to see a way to add several views to one workspace. I currently do it in KeepassFX by adding a Mainview that adds the other views

ROFL 4+1 is soooo old 🙂 I used that in the nineties but I always found a bit too formal

and sometimes a bit contrived to actually fill all the views

i'm not doing any of this formally, but i organize my analysis along those lines: logical, component, etc Mostly, i just focus on the task at hand. Like if we need a smaller distro, i'll probably start with the component model. If there's a lot of bugs being caused by too much coupling, it's a class model

@jchildress The file for chapter 11 was renamed. The link in the sidebar uses the old link. Interestingly changing the URL manually to point to https://github.com/edvin/tornadofx-guide/blob/master/11.%20Editing%20Models%20and%20Validation.md also doesn't work.

@jonathan @edvin do either of you know of a quick easy way for a TableView to be multi-selectable using a mouse click-and-drag? My coworkers informed me that modifying the SelectionMode does not inherently implement this behavior. It only works with keyboard inputs.

I know this behavior was inherent in Swing

@thomasnield The default mode gives you shift + mouse click -> shift + mouse click another row to select the ones in between, and ctrl + mouse click to select/deselect individual rows after, but you want to simply drag with the mouse to select multiple rows?
