@thomasnield I'm sure we can make the drag thing work as well if needed, but the procedure I described is default in almost every UI toolkit I know of, including Windows Explorer etc.

If you think that's worthwhile that would be awesome. And I agree I think most people expect it

@thomasnield Did you rename Chapter 11 to "Editing Models and Validation" or is that something I've done inadvertently? It used to be called "ViewModel and Validation".

@thomasnield OK. I finally finished SqueezeBox yesterday, have started writing on Drawer and will update Workspace with the new info about the default drawers (leftDrawer and rightDrawer) + the new tabbed mode where you can dock multiple views in the Workspace and have them come up as tabs.

I was following those developments a bit those are pretty neat! I'm eager to play with them for future applications

@thomasnield I think you'll like them 🙂 I've been playing a little with the selection thing, and it seems toggle might be a little unexpected. Is that how it worked in swing, or did it just either select all or deselect all, depending on what happens to the first row you click or something?

Windows registry is already supported by another mechanism in TornadoFX. I don't remember the name right now, I know @ron uses it.

@thomasnield I've committed

TableView.selectOnDrag()

. It supports both cell/row selection modes, and you can even combine row selections with shift. I'll create a small screencast to show it 🙂
