That's pretty weird, since the contentContainer of Accordion is a StackPane.

It would center it's content by default.

It means however that you could wrap the form in a vbox to get the same effect, or just set the StackPane alignment property to TOP_CENTER for the form.

maxHeight

, you'd have to do:

maxHeight = 100.0 StackPane.setAlignment(this, Pos.TOP_CENTER)

Or the vbox wrapper trick. At least this makes sense to me, it seems to be behaving like it should.

slot of the BorderPane? It's kind of hard to see what's going on because it looks like the bottom of the video is clipped, but does it overflow beyond the visible area of the window?

It let's the content get the preferred size if it can fit within the parent. Do you want a max property perhaps?

OK, so we basically have two different options here. Max and Fixed size. I can't say wide, because it would depend of the Side. If it's vertical it's width, if it's horizontal it's height.
