This post in #random https://kotlinlang.slack.com/archives/C09222272/p1678911063910419 has been marked as NOT KOTLIN - I thought it was OK to post NOT KOTLIN in #random?

Not an answer, but two relevant observations: • The code of conduct says “Don’t use reactions to tell people they’re in the wrong place or asking the wrong question.” • The channel topic for #random says “random topics, Kotlin related or not”

I do wonder why the 😶 reaction exists though if it's likely to be misused as such?

I use it as a super downvote. I'm in the Kotlin slack. If there's a post completely unrelated to Kotlin I'll react with
not kotlin
and move on. I don't think it's misused to tell people to not post

The channel topic for #random says “random topics, Kotlin related or not”
This I think needs to be discussed. We are not going to share music playlists on Random, even if the topic says it can be unrelated

In my opinion, 😶 is not a relevant reaction for the post in #random, given that the topic of the channel allows for posts that are not related to Kotlin. @LeoColman, while I understand how and why you use this reaction, I believe that #random can be an exception to that rule.
