Hello, everyone! I'm interested in contributing to the `Kotlin Multiplatform libraries` proposal. I noticed that a `compression` library is given as an example in the <https://kotlinlang.org/docs/gsoc-2023.html#kotlin-multiplatform-libraries-easy-or-medium-175-or-350-hrs|project ideas>.

I think I can prepare with <https://commons.apache.org/proper/commons-compress/|Commons Compression> or <https://github.com/square/okio|Okio> as a starting point for the implementation. I'm also curious to know if the proposal has been assigned to a mentor.
