We've had a number of proposals for improving the kotlinx.benchmark library which is great!  There is a related alternative I'd like to propose which is to instead help improve the androidx.benchmark library.  Kinda similar but Android focused and with a Kotlin Multiplatform piece.  So if anyone wants to switch it might help the proposal differentiate (note that we can accept proposals for both kotlinx.benchmark and androidx.benchmark, ie these two projects aren't competing for a single slot).

Very curious to hear more about this.  Are you currently the one assigned to mentor for the androidx? Going to dive in once I get Home.

I have someone from the AndroidX team who will be the mentor for this.  I'll get them in this channel hopefully today to answer any questions.
