Folks, I will be working next on the notification for a talk starting (hopefully, before Kotlin Conf so I can use it there). I'm thinking about sending a notification 5 minutes before a talk that is bookmarked starts. Later, clicking in the notification will open the talk. Anyone has any thoughts about it before I do it?

Make it opt-in for those who would prefer not too many notification on their phone?

Or maybe it's handled by the OS in all cases these days and you can always opt-out?

You can disable from Settings -> Apps -> Your App (or long click in the app and selecting app info). Would be nice to configure how often you want the notification inside the app. Maybe later we can expand the settings dialog to a screen.
