I r n00b and need help with regards to which questions are appropriate for which channels (if any). I'm particularly new to android development and have asked a few questions in #android only to be told that what I'm asking about isn't Kotlin. I am asking about blocks of code that are written in Kotlin but I'm being told that the questions aren't about Kotlin. I am missing some clearly. If I need to ask questions about how to use objects specifically with regards to Kotlin-based android apps, where is it acceptable to do so? Thanks.

Just because it's Kotlin code, it doesn't make it a Kotlin specific question necessarily. Looks like maybe you deleted all your questions from there, so can't tell for certain. But let's say you ask about activity lifecycle with Kotlin code, but that's not Kotlin specific. That would be a general Android question to be asked in general Android slack servers or stack overflow.
You can see the links to those other places in the #android channel description

The way to think about it is “would my question be basically the same if I were writing in Java / Typescript / other language”. That is, is it about how to interact with a library or platform that is not language specific ? If it is, it’s not a Kotlin question.
