Is there going to be a Compose Web Canvas for JS, or are we jumping right to WASM? The only mention of Compose for Web was in the context of WASM too. If WASM support is the way for web compose moving forward, and JS is being skipped that worries me in terms of usability within the next several years and stability. It took years to build the confidence of Kotlin JS with debugging. Has the performance just not been there for Compose Web with JS?

Hi @spierce7. Currently, we are experimenting with Kotlin/Wasm and Compose for Web, which is based on it. We believe that WebAssembly may have a great potential but we don’t know how it will turn out to be at the end.

@Ekaterina Volodko [JB] So is the plan to skip Compose JS and focus on Compose WASM?

Since resources are limited, currently we are experimenting with Compose for Web (Wasm). As of now, there are no specific plans for Compose JS.

Thank you for the clarity
