I've looked at the Arrow w. Spring Boot example project gh-alerts-subscriptions-kotlin. Could someone explain the rationale for SpringScope to me?

SpringScope is a CoroutineScope that is tied to the lifecycle of Spring using DestroyableBean.

So when the server shuts down it also cancels all the running futures.
