Be good to add some localisation to the app at some point....anyone for example know any French? 😃

Good call 🙂 I'll try to make a stab at it before Android Makers

With use of Material 3 you can definitely see closer similarity now between the apps

ga_IE and en_AU next?
I'll do a cleanup of Wear strings, good to localise at same time.

I did a few as part of my PR, didn't run too many tests myself but screenshot tests should have caught any issue?

There must be automated services for this? For 20+ languages?

In my previous company, we used a service but can't remember the name 😅
It was expensive though
But can't remember how much either 😅 , time flies

There's fun also around sometimes having to make UI more adaptive with having more languages..... German comes to mind in particular!

I doubt many people actually learnt how to pronounce them 😃
The Droidcon naming I think is much better idea

Out of curiosity: how do we plan to internationalize the conference content? Let's say... Sessions or speakers descriptions.

At Android Makers, the language of the title/description is the language in which the talk is given
Which means if your locale is french you still see English description for English talks
(and vice versa)
