Hey everyone - I'm the WebAssembly PM in Chrome and I'm really excited to be diving into this community of folks hoping to use Kotlin on wasm! Would anyone be interested in meeting to casually chat about Kotlin on wasm and how we might further support you all? My team is spearheading the WasmGC standard and the implementation in V8 which all seems to be running smoothly, but I want to understand all the other parts (tooling, IDEs, code sharing patterns, bugs, library support, ecosystem engagement, etc...). I'm especially interested in talking to someone hoping to ship Kotlin code from an Android app to the web 😄

Hi Thomas, I will likely not help for the Android side of things, but for the rest, interested to chat if you are for server-side and frontend use cases.

Open to chat. Not an android app either but other use-cases :)

I have a couple of ongoing multiplatform projects that involve Android and Web clients. Until now I've mostly gone down the KotlinJS route.
My last exposure to Kotlin + WebAssembly dates from pre-covid, when we were experimenting with it at Shopify.
My current project is around WebRTC peer to peer from android native to web client.
If anything, I'm quite curious about how easy (if?) I can port my KotlinJS web client code to Wasm.
