Hello Kotlin Community Members,
We recently released the
ArcGIS Maps SDK for Kotlin, which allows you to build sophisticated
mapping and location-based apps. This is a
Kotlin-first reimagining of our successful Java-based Android SDK that we released in 2011, and lets our customers take full advantage of
Kotlin’s language features including coroutines, flows, default parameters, higher-order functions and null safety.
Some of the highlights of the SDK: it works
online or
offline, in
2D or 3D, with sophisticated
geospatial data rendering. You can build apps that include data collection, data editing, routing, navigation, geocoding, spatial analysis, and indoor and outdoor blue-dot experiences.
At
Esri we build GIS, mapping, and location tools and technologies, collectively known as ArcGIS, which governments, organizations, and communities around the world use to
help understand the world we live in. We built the ArcGIS Maps SDK for Kotlin so that developers can create the very best Android mapping apps for their users.
Any
feedback is appreciated. Thank you.
