Disclaimer: not kotlin but kotlin colored Hey, quick question. If an app is sideloaded to the device, would it continue to get Playstore updates ?

I believe that is true. I don't think that the Play store tracks what it has installed. Rather it uses the package names to figure out what it needs to look for updates for and then updates them, assuming that the APK signature matches. I'm not 100% sure about this though.

I believe that is still accurate, so long as they are signed with the same key
