https://android.googlesource.com/platform/frameworks/support/+/androidx-main/compose/ui/ui-util/src/commonMain/kotlin/androidx/compose/ui/util/ListUtils.kt but the implementation is really uninteresting. it's just iterating by index rather than by iterator
