Based on sympathy and solidarity to all citizens of Ukraine, the Center for Advanced Systems Understanding (CASUS) seeks to provide rapid support. Many people flee the war in the Ukraine and it is not clear at all how the situation will develop in the future. Hence, CASUS invites scientists that have to leave the Ukraine to come to Görlitz. Based on the CASUS research profile, postdocs as well as PhD and master students doing research in mathematics, systems theory, data science, scientific computing applications or adjacent scientific fields can be best supported and are encouraged to continue their work at CASUS for the time being. We understand that the situation is difficult and a great burden for those affected. CASUS therefore offers broad support for the organization of the stay in Görlitz.
