I have a github repo containing app's code, which has good Google Search Position ,

I am planning to rename the App (say ABC) and Repo as well but dont want to lose the Google Search Position I gained in so much time.
So can i do the following?

• Rename Shabinder/ABC -> Shabinder/XYZ
• after that Recreate Shabinder/ABC and link it to Shabinder/XYZ
Will google search show Shabinder/ABC as It does now after the rename and recreation ?

I am curious ?
