Thinking about it, almost all of the extension methods are useful, so it might just be a matter of viewing a list and picking out the ones that do new things. Another method that comes to mind is... measureTimeMillis I think? It's just a method that accepts a lambda and returns the number of milliseconds it took for the lambda to run. It's just an easier way to measure time.
