I have seen in some SO Q/As that people recommend to use gradle on the cli instead of running things through Idea's button-controlled doings. I suppose there is some magic in Idea's interpretation of the gradle build files, yes. Have you tried asking in #C0B8H786P or #C0CMKCL87?
